Some all-time favorite questions to ask an employee who is not being accountable would be: “Would it be acceptable for me to miss your paycheck this week ? How many times in the time you have worked here have I been late on your paycheck ? Never correct ? So is it fair to say that you expect 100% accountability from me when it comes to your pay ? Why then should I accept less than that from you in your obligations to the company?”
