Birthday fun for Mom & Boys

Birthdays can be a tough time for kids and moms. Of course they are filled with fun, excitement and anticipation. There are also moments of frustration, disappointment and chaos. Moms are typically the ones that plan the special day for kids and sometimes moms are the ones that are forgotten when it is their special day. The excitement that kids have before the special day is sometimes followed with a letdown once the activities have concluded. With the Jewels and Gems guide, our intention is not to have you go out and spend a ton of money, actually next to nothing, but instead to have a list of creative ways to celebrate Moms and the little ones that they love, particularly boys. Some of the suggestions can be used for both boys and girls but I am writing from the perspective of a mother of boys. The inspiration behind this guide is from Jewels, me the mom and my little gems, twins, Lukas and Jenson, soon to be 11 year old boys; nicknamed.

All Work & No Play

How many of you have heard the proverb ‘All work and no play make Jack a dull boy’. The fact is that as a business owner, work can directly and subtly consume all your time.
