Accept you will have to repeat instructions to your employees, sometimes many times. Be proactive about this not waiting until an accident or mishap occurs. For example if being on time is a core value of the company then keep repeating it’s importance over and over again. If being ready to report your information on time and accurately is important keep repeating its importance.

If you find yourself saying “I told you already,” you are missing the point”; they did not remember or it did not sink in. Repeat it without anger or frustration and keep repeating it.
You might say their idiots, they’re stupid. Just remember they are your idiots; and they will not get any smarter until you educate them.

Keep repeating important instructions or messages over and over; its a key management tool that you can count on.
